About me

***Update – I am moving back to the UK in April so I will only be available for a limited number of shoots in Cape Town.  I will be available for shoots in the Surrey area from May onwards, please contact me if you are interested in booking***

I have loved photography since I got a little Kodak camera for christmas when I was eight years old.  The kind where you had to wind the film manually after every shot and they all came out with a green colour caste.

I ended up doing  a Bcomm when I left school (like most kids who have no idea what they want to do after school and are pretty good at maths!) I worked in the financial industry in London for about 8 years before returning to South Africa.

I travelled extensively in my twenties and my love for capturing people and places was expressed through my camera lens.  It never really occurred to me that I could give up my ‘proper’ job and actually do something I loved, this realisation and opportunity came later.
Now that I am a mother I love capturing those special moments that in retrospect are so fleeting. I have 2 fantastic children and an amazing husband.  I try every day to be thankful for how blessed I have been in life.  I love children and being able to photograph them is truly inspiring!  People and their enviroments facscinate me and I suppose that may also be why I decided to study psychology.

I am very passionate about photography and am constantly absorbing new ideas and learning all the time.

I love capturing weddings, I love the pace, I love the happiness, the celebration and the coming together of families.  I am based in Cape Town but I am more than happy to travel for weddings in South Africa and of course overseas – my ultimate dream destinations to shoot weddings are Mexico, Morroco and Italy.  You have to dream!

Enough about me, let me capture your life!

Please go to my contact page should you wish to contact me for a photoshoot – weddings, maternity, newborn, babies, children and families, birthdays etc.
